Not playing Thames Festival
The Tofu Love Frogs have been pulled from playing at the Thames Festival for “not being family friendly”

The Tofu Love Frogs reunited after a nine year break at Stokefest in Clissold Park, Stoke Newington in June 2007.
Their first gigs, playing their unique mixture of folk, punk and booze; with songs about politics and crime delighted the Hackney underclass. They played mostly in squat parties and a few venues around London. Over the next year Paddy and Chris both bought old buses and the show went on the road. Of course at this time England was full of young people taking to the road and no free festival was complete without the Tofus... Read more Tofus history

We’re no longer going to be playing at Camp Bestival (the weekend of the 18th July) as they decided they had over booked performers.
I saw loads of people with cameras out and about at the Lee Valley festival at Stonebridge Lock on Sunday - anyone got any tofus/fezzi pics they want to share? You can either upload them to flickr and then add them to the Tofu Love Frogs group or you can email me at jen@tofulovefrogs.co.uk and I’ll stick them on the site.

The first gig of the year looks to be a blinder… the Tofu Love Frogs are part of the “Mayday Mayhem” benefit gig at the Concorde 2 in Brighton - alongside The Amigos, Los Albertos and the Liberator DJs. And with a very special guest too! (check out the flyer). There’s also laser lightshow VJs and burlesque beauties from the Boutique Theatre and as the flyer says - “scenes of the absurd and oh so much more!”
The benefit is for RYICO, which is a charitable organisation that works to support and empower vulnerable young people in Rwanda. The gig is raising money for an orphanage in Rwanda. Save the booking fee by getting in touch with RYICO.
Get down there, show your support, and kick off the spring properly!
